We were commissioned by an interior designer to create a wallpaper for Ethel's Fancy, a restaurant in Palo Alto, California. The manga pages that make up the design show the life-story of the chef and owner Scott Nishiyama.
Our lead artist Allie was tasked with creating a compelling world and story-line for a manga series that's character styling would also lend itself well to an NFT art collection. Allie managed a team of artists for research, development and logo design.
We were contracted by Hinkler Books, an Australian publisher to produce 19 coloring pages in 2019, and again for 5 more in 2020. The artwork is being used in several of their coloring book products since 2019.
