Allie, our lead artist and owner handed many aspects within the company over the course of roughly 5 Years as a Creative Director and manager, for more information on the artwork and responsibilities handled, click the portfolio link above.
Specifically this portfolio project is about the Social Optics Graphic Novel. The graphic novel was to be designed as a fill in the blank activity for students using the app.
Allie handled:
- Script
- Main character designs (with background characters designed by the team)
- Thumbnail sketches and layout
- Working through corrections with the team
- Frequent zoom meetings to keep everyone aligned

Behind the scenes:
As well as writing the script, I created versions of the page layouts that show tiny thumbnail sketches for the team to go off of.
Alongside the other character and room designs seen in the main Social Optics Portfolio ( Here : https://sprinterworks.studio/blogs/portfolio/social-optics-educational-app-and-branding ) I also created a hero costume for character Lyla.
