Our client had a script intended for an animated show episode that they wanted converted into a comic. Allie - Our lead artist's role for this project was story director / story boarding for an 150 page comic. The Comic was called Allister's Hood, about a young mage who travels through an alternate reality of a magic-filled Wild West.
Allie's job was not only to plan thumbnail layouts but also add in details for the world building, additional side character designs and re-arrange or add dialogue as needed. Allie searched out references for locations, poses and effects and included detailed annotations to help the final comic page artist construct the pages from the instructions.
